Amor Electro have been growing since their debut album, released in 2011, and have become one of Portugal’s most renowned bands of modern times.
Since their debut album “Cai o Carmo e a Trindade” that Tiago Pais Dias, Rui Rechena, Ricardo Vasconcelos and Mauro Ramos provide Marisa Liz - one of Portugal’s most renowned voices of recent times - with the ideal environment to showcase their talent. Their unique style combines modernity, tradition, popular roots and technology to create exceptionally original music with a great deal of charisma, emotion and “Portugality”.
Amor Electro’s recent album #4 was released on June 1st, 2018. It contains themes like the hymn “Juntos somos mais Fortes”, the unforgettable “Procura por Mim”, and songs like “A Miúda do Café” (an electro-pop classic that will make everyone dance and sing wherever they are), “Sei” (an unexpected combination of an undulating vintage mix Miguel Pité’s hip hop) and their newest, strong and shocking single “Vai dar Confusão” (a funky swing for the dancefloor).
Amor Electro are part of the generation that defined Portuguese modern music and is no longer ashamed of singing in Portuguese.
