Tiago Nacarato is a singer and songwriter from Oporto, with Brazilian roots, and who has been in contact with music from a very young age. When he was 18 years, he decided to invest in his musical training and enrolled at Valentim de Carvalho music school where he was given singing, guitar, auditory training, music theory and combo lessons. His first gigs appeared during that period. One of the most important events was when Pedro Cardoso (Peixe of Ornatos Violeta), his professor at the time, asked Tiago Nacarato to join his guitar and electric bass orchestra in a project that was presented in venues like Serralves em Festa, Hard Club or Casa da Música. His return to his Brazilian roots took place when he joined the Orquestra Bamba Social as a singer. This project gathered Portuguese-Brazilian citizens living in Oporto and paid tribute to many Brazilian classics by recreating them and adding new sounds.
Tiago Nacarato has been presenting is solo show since 2018 and has already given several concerts in Portugal. His performances in the big auditorium of Centro Cultural de Belém (Lisbon), Sala Suggia of Casa da Música (Oporto) and Convento de São Francisco (Coimbra), among others, were sold out. Tiago Nacarato made his debut in Brazil in the end of 2018, where he performed in sold-out venues that resulted in him giving two concerts in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza and Belo Horizonte. After the singles “A Dança” and “Tempo” featuring Salvador Sobral, Tiago Nacarato has recently released “Só Me Apetece Dançar” featuring Ana Bacalhau.
